Heather Hawthorn Doyle was nominated for two Canadian Screen Awards (Canada's Emmy's) this year - Best Direction in a TV movie for "Make Me a Match" and for "The More Love Grows".
Heather is an in demand director known for her strong work with story, her gentle touch with actors and her ability to play well with others. Work hard and have fun is her on set motto.
Heather's television directing work includes episodes of "Endlings" (Hulu/CBC), "Odd Squad" (PBS/TVO) "Dino Dana" (Amazon/TVO) and she got her start as a narrative director on the multi camera sitcom "Some Assembly Required (Netflix/YTV). She's also directed dramatic, romantic comedy and Christmas TV movies for Hallmark, Lifetime and other international broadcasters.

Heather is also an award winning producer, director and show creator in documentary, lifestyle and factual entertainment including co-creating and show running the hit international travel show "Word Travels" (40 x30) for Nat Geo International/Rogers and developing and show running the award winning (NHK Japan Prize, $50,000 Shaw Rocket Prize, Gemini Award) youth documentary series "Make Some Noise"
